see? we remember how to make non-Pokemon videos.
@SuperMaximGlitchy1's Channel The algorithm has spoken
you still add it to your video’s
Surprised this video didn't break as you were making it.
Be careful what you wish for.
Not having the same voices was a little jarring.
I miss when Dorkly was actually funny, like when Ganon kept the key instead of leaving it out in the open for Link to find then yelling at how stupid Link was for thinking their would be one for him to use
Anyone remember the Giant’s Knife?
Breath of the wild be like
Durability isn't that big a deal when you use the environment to kill your foes
Not to nit pick an other wise very funny and very well made video - but the hero of time wasn’t from this game (this is link to the past, hero of time was from ocarina of time)
i like the animation style here than in most of your other videos
I just found the weapons with the best durability and damage output. And since most weapons are *everywhere* I just collected enough for this to never be a problem. Y'all need to stop complaining about a mechanic that forces you to collect items when that's 90% of what you do in the game anyway!
The writing on these dorkly bits isn’t as witty as it used to be
Why are they even fighting, if everything sucks. There isn't even anything worth fighting OVER in that world.
Nintendo… take note on how stupid this mechanic is, ESPECIALLY THE MASTER SWORD.
suddenly everything starts to break, even the world
Yeah....they say its more realistic...but its not...its really not....its an ill thought out means of forcing people to use weapons and gear that they don't like just to save durability. Its lame, its frustrating, and over all....not a fun addition to any game.
The nostalgia hits hard after hearing these "a Link to the past" sound effects
When he asked about the master Sword he sounded like a concerned dad
This is a bit late but- yeah That’s how the tri-force works One time use unless somehow the user balances the attributes but- I guess it’s cannon Huh- neat
Thats why i quit playing. It felt like a chore.
Not to mention forging adds to the durability of an item, no way it would break that quickly, so either it was casted, or the devs are idiots
He had triforce should've wished for an unbreakable spinning trident thingy.
Dark Souls introduces breakable weapons... They self-repair at bonfires and when they only rarely break, they're cheap to fix. . And then every other game decided to add breakable weapons _without_ managing the tedious *BS* of manual repair by adding some form of automatoion to the concept...
A link to the past didnt have that stupid crap it is way better than botw in fact it is one of the best games ever made
"Hero of time" you know that just OoT Link is the Hero of Time
Zelda breaks Link's heart by putting him in the friend zone every reincarnation. Now his weapons break too.
I could plan to murder the developers if they tried breakable weapons in the sequel, but I know, if that happened, there would already be a line so long for that honor that I wouldn’t need to bother.
Should we remind ganon that he has magical powers?
Yes. I hated this aspect of BOTW.
Your cast broke!!
if it wasnt for the voiceover it would be cool.
Son of a "coin get." Perfection.
Broken weapon = broken heart.... Literally
I'm with Ganon here. It's fine those mogoblin clubs you pick up break, but it'd be nice if the other weapons were made about 10 times more durable and 10 times more rare.
If you could repair them it would be nice. Sadly you cant and that sucks so bad
I'm surprised your channel still progressing, it's been years.
i was half expecting one of the things in the outro to break too
You know what breaks more? My trust, and my wallet
I dont mind weapons breaking, I just wish you could take them to a blacksmith to be reforged or a magical item to increase durability. I hope they address this in botw 2.
I like that the weapons have durability, and I didn't mind it because you lift a rock and there's a weapon. But they definitely could've done something to make it feel less terrible. Buff the weapons by making them more durable overall, keep them in check by making them become blunt and lose a bunch of damage after a while, and if you keep using them a lot past that point then they finally break. Maybe a bluntness system can also be used to add variety to weapons, like for example you have a sword and a club that both last for 100 hits, but the sword damage declines after 40 uses and the club after 80; however those 40 sword swings would deal roughly the same damage as 60 or something swings from the club to compensate for it becoming blunt sooner. Another idea is that elemental weapons keep their elemental properties even after losing their sharpness, so they can still serve their combat and exploration utility This would screw over spears pretty badly though, since they kinda rely on being sharp. And "muh realism" also dictates they'd be frail in comparison sadly. Oh and please for the love of god, give us durability meter. If you want, wipe your ass with everything I said and keep durability 100% the same but PLEASE ADD A DURABILITY METER. You only know whether your weapon is in mint condition or 4 hits away from breaking and that's ass
Considering we have to hunt for the Triforce pieces in Wind Waker, it’s no real surprise that it shatters easily.
I don't understand why people complain about the durability so much. Most weapons last long enough to kill like 10+ enemies, and every one of them drops a weapon after they die. I literally throw weapons at enemies to break them because you get more weapons every 5 seconds
Durability should only come into play when striking a weapon on its weakness. Blade vs. Blade edge clashing causes chipping and fracturing, damage. Blade vs. Flesh causes no damage to the blade and rarely ever does more than dull it over time.Sharpness. Blade vs. Armor causes dings in the blade and very little to hard metal armor, and neither really get damaged when slashing chain mail... stabbing on the other hand... Mace vs. Armor = Mace wins. Mace vs. Hard wall, beating into well anchored things like trees, aka, missing should damage maces a bit. Axes are so great because they are durable, but depending on handle material, repeated strikes can effect the heft of the weapon. If it is a metal heft it can be bent back, and a jagged axe still is a very VERY effective killer. It's hard to break a good axe. Durabilities should be effected by what is happening to the weapon? Rather it is flesh, armor, missing and hitting hard terrain.
BOTW devs, if you ever make another game, please for the love of christ make the stronger weapons *stronger* idc about damage anymore, if my legendary sword from the gods breaks faster than a wooden stick, ima be pissed
human equivalent of a body pillow
Welp, now Hyrule is doomed.
Instead of gradually breaking, they should make it so that stronger monsters can break your metal weapons if you're not careful. It would make the monsters more intimidating, and make losing your weapon more dramatic and memorable.
Okay but he called Link the hero of time in The Legend of Zelda: Link to the past, where he is called the hero of Hyrule.
Hahahaha weapon durability fucking ruins games honestly boring waste of time
The one thing I hated, yes Hated, not found inconvenient, not found annoying, I HATED!!!! In breath of the wild, why Nintendo didn’t went with a Witcher system of having the weapons lose their effectiveness and being able to be repaired is beyond me, heck skyward sword had it with the shields and it didn’t affect the gameplay
I like durability, but only dark souls style durability, where you just gotta repair it if it breaks
dude if my sword breaks in the middle of fighting a lynil.....I'm going to rage quit so hard that not even saitama can catch me pressing the home button
Really, my only problem with the durability thing was that early in the game I could exhaust my entire supply of weapons on one enemy. I didn’t care that weapons broke. But they did break too fast. Not being able to use one sword forever is fine. But one fresh sword should be enough to take out a Lyonel
'Member when "...."
I'm glad someone is making fun of the clearly idiotic people who believe this is actually good for games, but it wasn't funny at all. In fact, not a single vid in quite awhile has been the least bit funny
Hero of lengend the hero of time is dead
It's safe to say that breakable weapons are best in games like BOTW, and not Link to the Past.
But if links legs break from exploration how does he even get to ganon 🤔
I hate the new ganon voice
honestly, the weapon breaking or degrading system feels dumb to me... i've heard that the LOZ game for the switch is good , but i haven't really gotten around to playing it that much .. i hope it doesn't carry over to the next game, that would suck
If old Zelda games is like BOTW
So that's how Lorule's Triforce broke
Ceave gaming did an in depth analysis on botw breakable items that's very well thought out and thorough.
What the hell happened to Ganon's voice?
He makes good points, in fact Nintendo was lazy when they abandoned having the weapons break on things that might make more sense like clashing swords or breaking boulders with a sword. A good compromise would be they get dull and do almost no damage eventually.
I’m with Ganondorf on this one. I don’t like weapon durability either.
The fact that I'm replaying this game is concerning but hilarious at the same time 😂
Take away breakable weapons and that means you take away equitable items from the world. Can’t have your cake and eat it too.
More Mortal Kombat videos (Get over here)
I freaking love the weapon breaking system the only issue with it is I ended the game with all these powerful weapons that I had from the first two three hours literally had a throwing boomerang that lasted me from the beginning to the end of the game and it never even got damaged. I don't know if that makes the weapon break mechanic too forgiving or what.
This Ganon voice is ass
Link can you explain why the master sword has energy for me. Also can't you still use it without energy
The only reason I don't like breath of wild.
Okay, the Tri-force Breaking was a good twist.
I want to see more starfox and metroid shorts
That voice is so weird
Triforce breaking is a thing. What do you think you were doing the first game
I dont like ganons new voice
Ganon's fist: *Breaks* Steve : Pathetic
Minecraft Steve : I dont have such weaknesses
Here's hoping BotW 2 doesnt have weapon breaking.
You fell in love with Zelda... nope, you're heart broke.
I like BotW but the breakable weapon mechanics suck so much.
This is my favorite
Why did the TRIFORCE break??
If anything the weapons should be more dollar every time you use it
4 year old joke. Good job so creative. Probably should just stick to Pokémon videos 0.5 out of 10
As hilarious as this is pretty sure Ganon's weapon is the Trident of Darkness from FSA, so it would probably just run out of energy like the master sword...and fists? COME ON NINTENDO THAT IS GOING TOO FAR!
Roasting the hell out of fire emblem right now lmao
Video was Co (kedboard has broke)
Alternate title: why breakable weapons in Zelda make no sense
Please bring back pokemon rust version I loved and I am sure other people like who every likes it coment bringbackrust#
he can talk??? WTF!
Talk to the Tree Branch from BOTW.
Lmao “same problem as my IPhone” never heard some so relatable
Do doodle jump parody
Can you do more mortal kombat it's so funny
This is like the one thing I dislike about BOTW and it's weird that there is no way to repair stuff
